Model Transformative Learning Berbasis Amsal 9:10 bagi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di Indonesia

Christian Religious Education (CRE) in Indonesia tends to be normative-dogmatic rather than transformative. This study aims to develop a Transformative Learning model based on Proverbs 9:10 for CRE instruction. The methodology employed is qualitative library research utilizing hermeneutic and thematic analysis approaches, complemented by a lexical-syntactic analysis of the Hebrew text of Proverbs 9:10 using standard lexicons and commentaries on the Book of Proverbs. The research findings are presented in three subsections. The first subsection analyzes the theology of Proverbs 9:10 regarding the concept of the fear of the Lord (יִרְאָה) as the foundation of true wisdom. The second subsection integrates Transformative Learning theory with biblical wisdom through critical reflection and perspective reconstruction. The third subsection formulates a model for implementing contextual CRE in Indonesia through practical steps grounded in local wisdom. The study concludes that the Proverbs 9:10-based Transformative Learning model conceptually offers a paradigmatic alternative that is both biblically relevant and pedagogically applicable. The empirical viability of this model requires further testing through classroom action research or experimental studies across various educational levels in Indonesia.
Abstrak
Pendidikan Agama Kristen di Indonesia cenderung normatif-dogmatis dan kurang transformatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model Transformative Learning berbasis Amsal 9:10 bagi pembelajaran PAK. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan kualitatif dengan pendekatan hermeneutik dan analisis tematik, dilengkapi analisis leksikal-sintaksis terhadap teks Ibrani Amsal 9:10 menggunakan rujukan leksikon standar serta tafsiran standar kitab Amsal. Hasil penelitian disajikan dalam tiga sub bab. Sub bab pertama menganalisis teologi Amsal 9:10 tentang konsep takut akan Tuhan (יִרְאָה) sebagai fondasi hikmat sejati. Sub bab kedua mengintegrasikan teori Transformative Learning dengan hikmat Alkitab melalui refleksi kritis dan rekonstruksi perspektif. Sub bab ketiga merumuskan model penerapan PAK kontekstual di Indonesia melalui langkah-langkah praktis berbasis kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model Transformative Learning berbasis Amsal 9:10 secara konseptual menawarkan alternatif paradigmatik yang relevan secara alkitabiah dan aplikatif secara pedagogis. Kelayakan empiris model ini masih perlu diuji melalui penelitian tindakan kelas atau studi eksperimental di berbagai jenjang pendidikan di Indonesia.
